Safe Place Recovery Ministry
The Safe Place Recovery Ministry is a 12-Step Bible Study (Beginning November 7, 2019) Every Thursday, 6:00-8:00 pm
Ministry Mission: To Minister to the needs of anyone who suffers from anything that has caused life damaging consequences.
Vision: To share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to share our experiences, strength and hope with others that the truth of the Gospel may help us solve our common problems and help others to recover from their addictions by using the 12 Steps of Recovery through the Bible. It will be a ministry specifically for those who are seeking to reverse the bondage’s that have caused life damaging. We welcome anyone who:
* Who desires to be delivered and to be set free
* Wants to be fully restored back to God, their family and their community.
* Willing to be honest about the true pitfalls of addiction.
* Ready to be more than a conqueror.
* No longer willing to hide in secret regarding past or present addictions and come out in the open with others who understand and can personally relate
Purpose: Addictive Behaviors have left no community untouched, and we aim to minister to those who are hurting by reconciling them back to God, themselves, and the Community. This will include those who are in various phases of recovery by inviting all to engage in Biblical 12-Step programs to address their addictive behavior as the “secondary” problem and the lack of spiritual disciplines as the “primary” problem in a safe, non-judgmental and empowering atmosphere. This is a Christ-centered ministry helping people experience freedom and deliverance from the physical, spiritual and emotional bondage addictive behaviors can cause. We also address the cycles of guilt, shame, hopelessness, depression and fear that are closely associated with a dependency lifestyle
